It’s because he was forced that Louis Ducos du Hauron joined his brother in Algiers. All his thoughts brought him back to his « business » in Toulouse. From Algiers, he followed this first industrial opportunity while continuing his research and his experiments in photography and thus taking the first colour pictures of the African continent.
